Aftercare
A tattoo is more than just a piece of art and a way to assert your personal style. It’s a medical procedure too, because the artist uses a needle to insert the ink underneath your skin.
Any time you open the skin, you leave yourself vulnerable to scarring and infections.
Caring for your tattoo can prevent those complications and ensure that the tattoo heals properly.

The First Day
-
Always wash your hands before touching your tattoo!
-
When you get home: Remove bandage within 1 - 2 hours after getting your tattoo. Do not re-bandage. Your tattoo needs to breathe, just like an open wound.
-
Wash your tattoo with an anti-bacterial liquid soap. Be gentle, do not use a washcloth or anything that will exfoliate your tattoo. Only use your hands.
-
Gently pat your tattoo dry with a paper towel. Do not rub, or use a fabric with a rough surface.
-
Put a small amount of ointment on the tattoo area and leave alone until tomorrow
-
For 4 days repeat these steps twice a day morning & Night wash rinse dry and apply!
Healing Process
The healing Process of a tattoo can be very ugly & itchy it's important that you don't itch much or pick at any excess ink or scabbing. A tattoo needs at least 4 weeks to be fully healed. Any infections that could happen depend on the way you take care of your tattoo. As an open wound make sure to keep it clean and open for air!

Tattoo Touch- Ups
Touching up a tattoo is a very common practice, and it’s something you might need even if you were tattooed at a reputable studio by a trained and experienced artist.
If your tattoo has healed and doesn’t look quite right, or if you have an older tattoo that has faded over time, you might need to get it touched up.
Touch ups can range anywhere from $35-$200
Depending on how much of the area needs touched up and based on pigmentation of the ink (color or black) prices may vary.
